Introduction…
Many times in our world, a place is special due to the people who live and thrive in a particular region.  Minnesota is no exception and has many “Great” people who have helped shape who we (Minnesotans) are as a group.  Minnesota Greats is an activity that focuses on the famous people of our state who have had a major influence on Minnesota history and culture.  PLP students will be assigned a “Minnesota Great” (MN Famous Person) and will be researching the basics of how, why, and when this person made an influence on the state.  Students will need to complete a variety of activities in order to “SHOW CASE” their particular Minnesota Great!
