Geoterms are the basic vocabulary (terminology/language) used by Geographers to describe/explain natural phenomena & human created systems through our earth. The 8th Grade Geography curriculum uses Geoterms throughout all our units of study in order to build Geographical Literacy within our 8th grade student population. Each unit of study, within the World Geography experience, will feature a “Themed Set” of terms, which can be accessed through the menu on the left hand side of this page. Below, students will find a variety of resources to help them define the Geoterms from each unit list.
