World Tour Step #6 - Create a Trip Budget Sheet
Your trip will need to advertise an exact price for you trip to your city for your potential customers. This means that your trip will need to set a budget and include a list of all expenditures (items you spent $ on) for your customer. WHY?...well wouldn't you demand to know exactly where your money goes if you were to pay someone to plan your trip? Your budget page can be in any format as long as it is clear to the reader. Hint: in the past it has worked to either break the budget down by DAY (ex/ $ summary for each day) or by CATEGORY (ex/ Food Total, Transportation Total, etc...)
Budget: Minimum = $4,000 USD Maximum = $5,000 USD
(USD = United States Dollars)
1. List Currency Type for your City
2. List the Current Exchange rate with the American Dollar
2.The MAJOR Budget items are...
1) Round Trip Airfare 2) Hotel 3) Food/Beverage/Meals 4) Major Sights/Attractions/Admission 5) Ground Transportation & Parking
3. Souvenirs/Gifts are NOT your responsibility & should NOT be on your budget sheet!
4.Your Trip is for TWO people! (Double Occupancy...meaning budget covers BOTH travelers)
5. Final Total Budget must be between $4,000 and $ 5,000 USD
6. Please also include on your budget page…How many hours would your travelers need to work at a Minimum Wage in the State of MN to pay for this trip? (Please look up MN minimum wage online & include the hours worked on your budget page)
Note: You need to display your budget in US Dollars on your website…if you make purchases or reservations in your countries “foreign money/currency”…you MUST use the Currency Converter below, so ALL your trip costs are displayed in US Dollars for your customers!
