MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS
Knights in Shining Armor…YES, these people actually existed during the turbulent Middle Age time period throughout Europe, but the romantic images that come to mind are probably a bit off from the actual life of a true knight. Knights, during Medieval Times, were basically managers that organized the armies/defenses of the kingdom for the King. Not only did they have a rather uncomfortable outfit (see “Dressing in late 14th Century” below), but they were often relied upon to take quite a beating and probably lived a rough life in order to keep the kingdom safe.
